Still 06.09.2010. on the bus from Stara Zagora (5.20 p.m.) to Šuman (10 p.m.)

A  short resume. The last time I washed was Sunday morning. I left the house with all my belongings on Sunday 4.45 p.m. Now it is Monday 9.30 p.m. and I have still not reached my destination. I will in half an hour, hopefully. It took the bus 2,5 hours to cover the distance of 65km. Incredible. And the road is not so bad, it is just that it stops in every town, and goes to the bus station and stops at every corner to suite everyone. Do not get me wrong, I am not complaining. I am in awe. For this incredible journey that has been going on for more than a day, and it is not so far, and I am not hitchhiking, And I especially want to compliment myself for being so patient and well spirited. As I could have gone forrest fruit a long time ago. I am usually patient with travelling up to a point where I am obviously not anymore, and then it is hard. For me and everyone around me.

I am starting to get excited about seeing some of my teammates. And experience yet another adventure in this place. I like this not really knowing what is going on, and how long we are staying where. It tests my patience. A lot. But so far, so good.

A bit of a diversion: What is it about this old late 80’s and the whole of the 90’s hits going on here. Did they come in later or have they been hits for a decade, or even a decade and  a half? Can someone explain? I am serious. Please explain how this works. Is it like that with smaller places that hits come and never leave? Did they come all at once at the end of the nineties when radio came to Bulgaria? I am sorry for being all moody (carrots!), but I have not heard one recent hit on the radio in this country. Okay, today it was pretty good at the bus station in SZ, but the hits were still at least more than half a decade old.

46 km more to go, and the road is straight and fast. Watch out, here I come!

P.S. Did you know these guys are the craziest drivers? They are not bothered at all if another car is driving in their lane but in the opposite direction. They do not slow down, if that is the case, they just continue in the same speed and miss each other for a mere 2 meters or so.
