Nourishing Body, Mind, and Soul

Change my name I remain the same!

Zagreb is such a beautiful city. Especially when winter suddenly turns into rainy autumn with sunny exhibitions. Giving me the last warm(er) weather sweethearts before I leave for Icey-land. And really it is icey, not so much snow, more rain, frozen rain and a lot of wind. Being born on an island in the Mediterranean, one would say I might have the feeling of living on an island. Maybe. But not a frozen one. Different different places, different different people, different different climates. Same problems. Or with a little variety.

The name of the blog is still the Path Through Eastern Europe, but is expanding to the Northern hemisphere, but never mind, it still stays A path.

This week is sleeping late, getting things done, but slowly, packing (but not really, just thinking about it). My plane leaves on Monday. First a week with Tom in rainy London, and then Reykjavik!

I participated as an assistant to a kiddie workshop ART Excel in Zagreb with two other teachers. One can learn so much from children. They are so free, open; so insightful, understanding. Contrary to what people generally might think about children not being able to communicate in a grown up language or have not learned yet about social rules, children communicate much better than us, and see and understand everything. They are just incredible. So free. Just to be so unspoiled is a bliss. To be so joyful, so in the moment, naturally so close to their true nature. Wow!

You must be asking yourself what is it I will be doing in Iceland. So a small overview would be in order. Basically organise courses and follow-ups from courses and make AoL Iceland a little more stable as in regular activity and funds. It is a small community but all the more, as I understand, people keep more to themselves.

6 months I will be there, and then I am coming back for the World Culture Festival in Berlin, 30th anniversary of the Art of Living. A biggest, coolest event in Europe, seen so far, really!

Next report from Iceland!
